Fiery Ruby Silk Scarf

Honoring the 10th-century Armenian monk, poet, mystical philosopher, and theologian St. Gregory of Narek, we created this scarf, which incorporates elements from the 14th-century richly illuminated manuscript of the "Book of Lamentations." The Book, also known as an "encyclopedia of prayer for all nations," is a unique cohesion of the soul invigorating prayers that are considered to possess healing and protection. We created this exquisite scarf by combining ornaments from Armenian manuscripts and architecture, along with the fiery ruby's color.
